Invitations: the wording

I have a unique problem when trying to find invitation wording. First, I kept the last name from my first marriage (because of the kids) but I do NOT want that last name after my name on the invites. Second, we are (supposed to be) paying for this, but it is at my parent's home. I want their name to be on there as well. Here are some options I have found

#1 (Has no last names, only first names)
Through marriage we are given
the gift of a new beginning,
a new family and a new life
We, Ms. A and Mr. B
along with her children
Little A and Miss G
invite you to witness
our beautiful beginnings
on Saturday, the twelfth of September
two thousand nine
at six o’clock in the evening
at the home of
Dad and Mom
XXXX West Blank Street
Any City, Arizona

#2
Little A and Miss G Last Name
invite you to join them
as their mother
Ms. A Middle Name
is married to
Mr. B New Last Name
and their new family is created
on Saturday, the twelfth of September
two thousand nine
at six o’clock in the evening
at the home of
Dad and Mom
XXXX West Blank Street
Any City, Arizona

#3
I love all of you, wholly and completely
I welcome the children into our family,
because they are each a beautiful part of you!
Mr. B New Last Name
invites you to share in his joy
as he is united in marriage with
Ms. A Middle Name
and joins as a family with
Little A and Miss G Last Name
on Saturday, the twelfth of September
two thousand nine
at six o’clock in the evening
at the home of
Dad and Mom
XXXX West Blank Street
Any City, Arizona

#4
It is not our task to question
the circumstances that have formed our lives,
only to give thanks for the steps we have taken
down the path that brought us together
Ms. A Middle Name and Mr. B New Last Name
along with her children
Little A and Miss G Last Name
invite you to share in their joy
as they are married
and create a new family
on Saturday, the twelfth of September
two thousand nine
at six o’clock in the evening
at the home of
Dad and Mom
XXXX West Blank Street
Any City, Arizona

#5
Soon we will be joining together
all the hopes for the future
as we are joining our lives.
Share with us this new beginning
the first day of our life together
(with one of the above)

Which wording do you like? #1, 2, 3, 4 or 5. If you like the verse in #5 which should I pair it with?

Oh my gosh, if I saw #2 on an invitation I would totally cry (happy tears, of course). That's my vote :)

Okay let me first start off by saying how much i enjoy your blog! I too, am a full-figured Mommy planning a wedding with 2 children! And they just so happen to be a girl and a boy as well! :) I totally understand where you're coming from with invitation wording. In circumstances like these this is not just the joining of a man and a woman as one but the forming of an 'official' family. That being said I vote for #2! That's the exact same kind of wording i'm aiming for. It would be super cute too to have the location named as Grandma & Grandpa Last Name's home (or whatever it is that they are called by the children). Good luck and I can't wait to see and hear more!

love all of your wording, and i was on the same boat (just wanted first names but wanted to acknowledge parents). choice #1 and #2 work well, so hopefully that makes your choice easier!
