Golden Book Baby Shower

You know what is hard for a party planner? Having someone else plan a party for you. Handing over the reigns can be very challenging, but so rewarding.  When I was pregnant with Little B I had already thrown 2 beautiful baby showers for my best friend.  I was tickled pink that she wanted to return the favor.  Because the gender of Little B was a surprise a gender neutral shower was a little more challenging. I gave her a few links to ideas that I liked and then stepped back and was surprised when I walked in that afternoon.

I am pleased to present my Golden Books Gender Neutral Baby Shower!!

Little Man 1st Birthday Party

This party was so much fun to plan.

We had talked with the mom multiple times to get a feel for what theme she wanted for her Little Man’s first birthday.  She really loved the idea of a vintage feel Little Man party full of mustaches’, newsboy hats and neckties.  Back in July & August we started collecting ideas on our Pinterest Inspiration Board for the party planned for the middle of December.

Plans started coming together after our Boo Bash and by the time the party rolled around we had completed many of the ideas from our board.

The kit used for printed paper products I designed

... 1 year banner

... for the cupcakes

...the chocolate covered pretzels

...the mustache cookies

And this is how our party turned out…

I (Amber) did not get to actually attend the party because of a commitment at church, but I loved seeing all the pictures from the party. The kids had been asked to dress up for the party and everyone looked so cute.

Boo Bash - a Recap

Our Boo Bash was fantastic.  We had 22 kids plus parents attend and the party was rocking!
As guests entered I took their picture at the Photo area we had set up.

The Candy Bar was a huge hit.  To keep it organized we divided the kids by age and let them “Trick or Treat” at the candy bar.halloween-3885
